The 2004 Red Sox World Series win has allowed Bill Buckner to come out in public again. Got to chat with him for a couple minutes. We were interrupted by a reporter who asked him about this fact, and his response was priceless.
Reporter: " Do you feel redeemed now they won a championship?" Buckner " Bleep, Bleep, Bleep No ! You don't see a bleeping ring on my finger! " Gotta love it!
